A growth mindset is characterized by the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication and hard work. This perspective fosters a love for learning and resilience, which are essential for achieving goals. When individuals see effort as a key component of mastery, they are more likely to persevere in the face of difficulties. This outlook encourages them to embrace challenges, learn from failures, and ultimately improve their skills and understanding over time.

The other options do not align with the growth mindset concept. Believing that intelligence is static indicates a fixed mindset, where individuals may feel discouraged by challenges. A focus on the absence of challenges overlooks the importance of effort and perseverance in personal development. Emphasizing success based solely on natural ability also reflects a fixed mindset, suggesting that success is determined only by inherent traits rather than growth and effort.
